Paddocks
Farm
Partnership Ltd, the makers of Verm-X, is the only company in the world
that exclusively focuses on producing natural parasite control for
animals. It is our specialist subject and all our research funding is
aimed at increasing the number and range of effective Verm-X products.
Verm-X and its makers have received many awards for its efforts in
producing natural products to support the welfare of animals, including
approval by Organic Farmers and Growers, the Ethical Award from
the Ethical Company Organisation, the Green
Apple Awards in Agriculture and Farming, Somerset Business of the Year
and is certified by the British Association of Holistic and Natural
Medicines.
Our
valued clients encourage us in our drive to eradicate the use of
chemicals. Before pharmaceutical formulations intervened there were
only natural ingredients. We are doing nothing new.
We are
purely offering animal keepers the opportunity to use an approach that
has stood the test of time – a far longer time than since the
introduction of man-made alternatives. We recently issued a press release
that shows how the Ecologist and others are beginning to question the
effectiveness of drug treatments in animals and how lessons are being
learned from Africa. Read
it here.
We
also have a Frequently Asked Questions document that tells you a lot
more about Verm-X.. Read our FAQs

What
is Verm-X?
Verm-X is a 100% natural formulation that controls internal parasites
whilst being gentle on the animal’s gut and digestive system.
Verm-X was initially launched for horses in 2002, formed out of our
love for them. Our concern for the volume of chemicals in use in the
day-to-day management of animals brought us to create our extensive
range, in consultation with some of the most respected medical
herbalists in the world. Read
what holistic vet Nick
Thompson has to say about
the power of
herbs here. We now have successful
Verm-X formulations for
horses, cows, poultry, dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters,
sheep, goats, pigs, ducks, game and caged birds, llamas and alpacas,
wild boar, red deer, antelope and oryx.
Verm-X undergoes rigorous research, development, manufacturing and
packaging processes prior to being transported to your local
outlet. We are immensely proud of our high standards and the
companies we work with to produce the Verm-X range.
Verm-X
has always been able to pride itself on its ability to embrace the
ethos of constant change and improvement. We strive to work on all
areas of the business, making sure not only are the customers happy but
also staff and suppliers understand the high standards that are
expected and endeavour to achieve these.

Award-Winning
Verm-X The Verm-X smallholder
range has gained
approval for use in organic systems following assessment by Organic
Farmers & Growers Ltd.
Organic
Farmers & Growers Ltd,
the highly regarded
control body accredited by Defra, has established its own Organic
Assurance Scheme and is able to inspect and certify various
operations including animal feed compounders, retailers and
wholesalers.
Philip
Ghazala, Verm-X Managing
Director is delighted: “Becoming certified as organic is
fantastic
news for Verm-X. Organic farmers can now use the certified Verm-X
products without derogation when veterinary advice is sought.
“Verm-X
is the first and only
internal parasite control preparation to gain such pre-approval which
is a massive step forward for organically kept stock.
“2010
has been a fantastic year for
Verm-X. The organic assurance follows shortly after full Ethical
Accreditation was awarded by the ECO. We are truly leading the way
with natural internal parasite control.” The
pre-approved products include
Verm-X Pellets for Sheep and Goats, Verm-X for Horses and Ponies,
Verm-X for all Poultry, Ducks and Fowl and Verm-X Pellets for
Pigs.
Verm-X,
the market leader in natural parasite control, is delighted to announce
full Ethical Accreditation following stringent analysis conducted by an
independent body.
Ethical Accreditation is a highly respected mark of independent
endorsement awarded by the ECO (Ethical Company Organisation) which
recognises significant corporate social responsibility. Verm-X
satisfied all of the criteria including ethical diligence towards the
environment, people and animals.
As the ethical marketplace continues to grow, Verm-X is proud to be a
member of the Ethical Accreditation Scheme, joining companies such as
Sainsbury’s, New Look and Highland Spring. This gives them strong
credibility and demonstrates their authenticity of overall corporate
social responsibility to their customers, employees and trade partners.
William Sankey, Research Director at ECO, said: "It is crucial to look
at the whole picture when choosing an ethical brand.
"We have awarded Verm-X ethical accreditation as we found no fault with
its approach to the environment, animal welfare, and human rights."
Philip Ghazala, Managing Director of Paddocks Farm Partnership
Limited which makes Verm-X, has led the development of the
company’s ethical best practices. He was delighted with the
accreditation. “From the very beginning Verm-X’s core
values were defined by our ethical approach and dedication to natural
parasite control,” he said.
“This accreditation recognises the high standards which Verm-X
meets in order to produce ethical products, and is a further
illustration of our commitment to providing customers with effective
natural alternatives to chemical-based products.
“Ethical relations between the Verm-X range of products and the
environment will continue to go from strength to strength as we
continually strive to make improvements.”
This accreditation confirms the Verm-X brand as number one in its area
of internal parasite control and places Verm-X high above the
pharmaceutical companies which cannot comply with the ethical
requirements due to the nature of their chemical compounds.
